Ron and I visit Glo's very frequently! She makes most of her food from scratch including morning oatmeal! You can select what you want including: nuts ,
Berries, honey, granola and more! Price
Is right!
Jennifer is the owner/manager and a friend to all. -

Glo's Coffee Corner has become a neighborhood gem. This review is an update from my first one.
We've got coffee shot in Georgetown! Whoo hooo! There's even a drive-through window. Glo's has become a Georgetown meeting spot, something that we've needed for a while. For several months they held game nights the first Saturday of each month. I think they are revamping that idea and plan to relaunch. Also, plans are in the works to extend hours of operation, closing at 8 instead of 4. That change is supposed to happen later in the summer.
Jennifer serves an array of sandwiches, any of which can be converted to a salad. I've ordered the Greek Sandwich ($6.99) turned into a salad and love it! You can get it with hummus or chickpeas. I add grilled chicken for just $1 more. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes. The flavorful soups are perfect in cooler weather. And Jennifer serves both a Curry Chicken Salad and a Curry Chickpea Salad. Both taste great, if you like a mild curry.
The daily brews usually include a dark, a medium and a light roast, or a dark and two mediums. Yum! She serves all the popular espresso drinks, as well as protein bites, pastries and fresh fruit. Oh, and be careful how you order an espresso shot: Glo's shots equal two Starbucks shots.
Rachael's has been a fine place to gather for happy hour or to watch a game. But I'm glad Glo's provides a place to meet neighbors, do a little work, grab coffee on the way to work, or sit down for wholesome and delicious lunch. -

Amazing coffee and exceptional service. This family run independent coffee shop exemplifies how it should be done. The prices are more than fair and the freshness of the product speaks volumes about the quality. There will never be a time that you are not welcomed with a warm smile when you walk in.

I had protein bites & a lavender latte. This cozy place has good hours for meetings or studying in the evening. Nice location in Georgetown, not in a busy area, with easy parking. The atmosphere is nice. The staff were friendly and made helpful suggestions. They have lots of milk alternatives: oat, coconut and almond milk. Glo's also sells pastries and bagels. Lots of tables, some outside seats and a couch area. They also have board games if you're just hanging out or taking the kids out for a treat. They offer unique drinks, such as mushroom coffee!

Coffee that matters
This is true brewed and delicious. Beautiful crema on my espresso shot. They even have delicious food, including vegetarian options. I can't begin to comment on the lovely and amazing service. I've never met such a friendly bunch. This is hipster coffee with no attitude and just pure goodness. Support your local coffee shop. Get in here.
